B vitamins are a family of water-soluble nutrients, each with a distinct role in promoting health, including modulating biochemistry and metabolism. B vitamins represent the most common vitamins utilized by the body as co-factors for facilitating enzymatic function. The modern refined diet, high in sugar, alcohol, and devitalized foods leads to lower levels of B vitamins. Stress and many medications may also lower B vitamin levels. While B vitamins have mainly been researched individually, they also have therapeutic power when taken together.

Thiamine (vitamin B1) helps the body’s cells change carbohydrates into energy. The main role of carbohydrates is to provide energy for the body, especially the brain and nervous system. Thiamin also plays a role in muscle contraction and conduction of nerve signals.
Vitamin B2 helps break down proteins, fats, and carbohydrates and plays a vital role in maintaining the body's energy supply.
Vitamin B3, in its nicotinamide form is essential for your health because it assists in converting carbohydrates to glucose and is necessary for the production of several sex and stress-related hormones. It also helps slow your skin’s aging process.
Vitamin B6 plays an important role in mood regulation, hemoglobin production, serotonin and norepinephrine production, and in decreasing homocysteine levels, thus lowering inflammation.
NatureFolate™ is made from a concentrated vegetable juice powder containing a blend of natural folates, including 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF) and 5-formyltetrahydrofolate with additional fortified 5-formyltetrahydrofolate as calcium folinate.
